The Virtual & Augmented Reality Technology-enhanced Learning (VARTEL) conference series was initiated in Singapore in 2012. It has since travelled to Holland (2014), China (2016), Finland (2018), and held Virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic (2020).
A decade after its inception, the conference will be hosted on the African continent for the first time ever. The University of Johannesburg is excited to welcome all VARTEL 2022 delegates to the city of Johannesburg, and we’ll ensure that our online delegates also get to experience a bit of African hospitality.
